AARUSHI TALWAR,a household name in India.Isn't she?A 14 year old girl from Noida very popular throughout this country,thanks to her murderer.TV channels are cashing in on her soul, to ensure TRP's.Paradoxically our country is said to be in a financial crisis.But IPL,Talwar's ,Unforgettable tour of the Bachan pariwar are all spinning money.Our country is certainly heading somewhere.We do not know her destination,but if signs are to be believed it's to a place we would rather be well without.

Aarushi,a girl born to a doctor couple in Noida(yeah an upper middle class family)was murdered brutally days before her 14th birthday, along with the domestic help Hemraj.The fact that circumstantial evidence pointed against her parents made this case a talking point in the country.Noida police made a mess(reportedly) during its investigation.Obviously the IG & other police officials publicizing their progress was hard to digest.With news channels springing up from nowhere ,were they hungry for their five minutes of fame??We never know.The matter was then handed over to the CBI(atleast people in kerala believe in CBI{thanks to the celluloid}).The investigation is on and if it ever gets over yours truly shall leave his comments on this space.

But who is the loser and who gained??Loser,we never know once again until this case is cracked.But the news channel's were the real gainers.Exclusive reports and breaking news filled the various channel space for two weeks.Nothing else seemed important.Media has played its part in society with the so called investigative journalism,but what is their actual motive??Is it social service??One is forced to believe otherwise.When hours were spent reporting the Talwars did they care for another soul who was murdered in the same house??Did they care for his family??The answer is BIG NO & understandably so.Yes the TRP's lies with Aarushi's soul & not a poor servant's.The whole murder episode would make a blockbuster bollywood script for sure & yours truly couldn't find fault with the Balaji production house for thinking in the same terms.

There lies the GREAT INDIAN CULTURE.
